LIFE AND GOD

At a point in our lives, we have all drown in the ocean of pains and we have all been massacred by the swords and knives of Life. There was a time I said to myself that I will choose God over Life always because Life is cruel, it can happen anytime. One day it will give us happiness and the next day It will snatch it from us and give us the opposite. The day you get to win, you are tagged "Lucky" and when you lose you are so Unlucky. We have no control over Life. It gives us the rules to follow and what to do but then It still decides if doing everything and following every rule will be in our favor or not. So I looked at Life and I hissed and I sort for something more, something way deeper and I found God. To many practically, there are no much differences between Life and God. Just that Luck, in reality, is termed Grace and Badluck is termed the storm of Life which will soon be over.

But the big difference is FAITH and that is what I found. Hebrews 11:1-2 "The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd" (MSG)

Without Faith, Life is in control and we can only hope it gives us happiness today and not much sadness tomorrow but with Faith, we don't even do Happiness but we do JOY which is everlasting and it persists even during those storms. Yes, we don't see Luck, we see Grace because we get what Life can't give and we don't see Badluck that we don't know when it will come or when it will be over. We call it a Storm because it will always be over and we have God right inside the boats of our lives so there is no way we are not going to get through it.

God always has good intentions towards us so there is this peace you have knowing you are covered even in the worst days. Life cannot offer you that.

Yes, "WHEN THERE IS LIFE, THERE IS HOPE" and I tell you that "WHEN THERE IS GOD, THERE IS LIFE." So let's do God together.
